CARRILLO RIVERA, MIGUEL
PhD in Business Administration from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in Montreal, Postgraduate degree in Microeconomics of Competitiveness from the Center for Strategy and Competitiveness at Harvard Business School, MBA with a specialization in Finance, Industrial and Systems Engineer, and a specialization in Strategy, Organizational Behavior, and International Finance from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM).
In the academic field, Miguel Carrillo holds a PhD in Management from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in Montreal. His education also includes an MBA with a specialization in Finance, a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, and a specialization in Strategy, Organizational Behavior, and International Finance from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM).
Carrillo is also a prestigious consultant who has led strategic projects for various public and private sector entities. His clients include Blue Waters, Goddard Enterprises, Claro Guatemala, Prestige Holdings, Caribbean Airlines, the Canadian International Development Agency, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), UNDP, CAF, the Organization of Caribbean States, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Trinidad and Tobago. He has also worked with the Sustainable Energy Business Incubator, the Hidden Champions Project for Trinidad and Tobago, the IDB's Inter-American Investment Corporation, and the Export-Import Bank of Korea.
As an educator, Carrillo has served as executive director at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business in Trinidad and Tobago, where he oversaw its strategy and operations in Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname, Guyana, Costa Rica, and Ghana. In addition, he served as dean at the Adolfo Ibáñez School of Management in Miami, Florida, and at the ITESM Business School in Mexico. He was also director of the Munir Abdul Lalani Center for Entrepreneurship and Free Enterprise at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, and professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at Midwestern State University, Texas, and Western New England University, Massachusetts.
