GÓMEZ CUADRADO, JULIÁN
Computer Engineering degree from ICAI, BSc in Computer Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and Master's in Big Data and Business Analytics from CIFF-Universidad de Alcalá de Henares.
Julián Gómez has over 20 years of experience in the world of IT, new technologies, and data analytics. He worked at Grupo Ibermática across different business units, gaining hands-on experience in technical skills and competencies, presales, and client management (insurance and banking, Iber2net—the Group's internet company—applied research, R&D in European projects, SAP-Public Sector, etc.).
He has provided professional services for several companies in the fields of development and consulting: product design and development, IT project management, and collaboration in defining and monitoring strategic architecture and systems plans. He has also led innovation projects focusing on applied technologies in the business environment (Repsol, Endesa, Red Eléctrica, Gamesa, Acciona, HotelBeds, and internal projects at OXFERA), heading the technical R&D team in collaboration with the Universidad de Salamanca.
He currently works in Big Data architecture and Data Analytics environments for HR, focusing on descriptive statistics, Machine Learning, classification models, and NLP, using Python and R environments. His technical expertise covers: visualization tools (Tableau, QlikView) and dashboard design; Big Data architectures (Kafka, Spark); NoSQL databases; and indexing systems (Solr and Elasticsearch).
