He has developed his professional career within the Mapfre Group, where he has held various positions as an IT Technician at Mapfre Industrial, Mapfre Servicios Informáticos, Corporación Mapfre, and Mapfre Mutualidad. He was subsequently Director of IT at ITSEMAP, Deputy Director of IT Services at Mapfre RE, and Deputy Director of International Coordination and Control at the General Sub-Directorate for Security and the Environment.
He is a professor of IT Applied to Security in the Advanced International Course on Comprehensive Business Security at the Mapfre Studies Foundation and in the Master's Degree in Security at the Polytechnic University of Madrid-Mapfre Studies Foundation. He is also Professor of Information Technology Applied to Risk Management in the Master's Degree in Insurance and Risk Management and in the Faculty of Insurance and Business Sciences at the Pontifical University of Salamanca (CUMES).
