Agricultural Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Doctor of Economics and Business Studies, and Master's Degree in Foreign Trade Management from the University of Murcia.
Professor of Economics, Sociology, and Agricultural Policy in the Department of Business Economics at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
He has taught and lectured in various master's programs, courses, and seminars organized by various Spanish and foreign universities. His main lines of research are agri-food cooperatives, the social economy, and agri-food marketing. He has participated in numerous research projects and conferences and has published many books and articles in various scientific journals, both national (CIRIEC-Spain, Journal of Public, Social, and Cooperative Economics, Journal of Cooperative Studies, Spanish Journal of Agricultural and Fisheries Studies, Spanish Journal of Agricultural Research), as well as international ones (Annals of Public and Cooperative Economics, International Journal of Research in Marketing, European Review of Agricultural Economics, European Journal of Marketing, Fruits), and is a reviewer for some of them.
He is currently Director of the Cajamar Chair of Agri-Food Cooperativism at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, Coordinator of the Master's Degree in Administration and Management of Social Economy Entities, Deputy Director of Promotion and Relations with Companies at the Higher Technical School of Agricultural Engineering, and President of the Teaching and Research Staff Board at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
